"JUNCEDA" AWARDS

These awards are given to acknowledge the work of illustrators working in Catalonia in all areas (for children, young people, dissemination...) and on all supports (press, books, multimedia...).

JUNCEDA D’HONOR: Maria Rius
This illustrator was born in Sant Pere de Riudebitlles (Barcelona) in 1938 and was one of the founding members of the Professional Association of Illustrator of Catalonia. Worth mentioning are her works on children’s literature and dissemination. She has illustrated over 170 books.
